Your Role in Team INSPECH
As a senior frontend developer, you’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team. Together with talented colleagues, you’ll be developing INSPECH , a tool that allows users to analyze their road network, providing insights to help better understand and determine maintenance needs. The focus will be on delivering an optimal user experience. Above all, you will show a passion for driving the continuous improvement of an evolving product in a technical and functional sense to provide the best experience to the user while contributing to a dynamic and productive team culture.

Core responsibilities:
- Design and build highly usable user interfaces, using Typescript and React
- Actively contribute to a culture of innovation and excellence
- Establish and maintain a holistic view of the product and the product team
- Improve UX and DX
- Optimize frontend performance to deliver fast and efficient applications
- Strong debugging skills to identify and resolve issues in existing codebases
- Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend trends, tools, and technologies and proactively propose improvements to the existing codebase
Team responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with team and stakeholders
- Collaborate with the Product manager to refine functional requirements
- Formulate a visual design and create responsive, intuitive, and visually appealing user interfaces based on a design brief
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic.
- Collaborate with ML engineers to create visual representations for innovative features.
- Contribute to the team spirit with a constructive attitude by giving and receiving feedback
- Contribute to code reviews and provide constructive feedback to your peers
- Enhance the team's collective knowledge and become a highly valued participant in frontend chapter meetings, contribute to our coding conventions
- Join the effort to contribute to the shared components library across teams
Qualifications:
- A completed Masters study in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience of at least 8 years as Frontend Developer or in a similar position
- Co-developed and released at least two commercial products targeted for a large audience. Having startup experience is a bonus
- Develop highly composable, readable, testable, and efficient code
- Ability to articulate a point of view and express this constructively
- Fluency in standard frontend technologies such as React, TypeScript, (S)CSS and HTML
- Fundamental understanding of REST APIs
- Demonstrable habit to write tests with React Testing Library and Vitest, ensuring the quality and stability of your codebase
- Have an experience with at least one of UI components libraries (Material UI, Ant Design, Bootstrap, Chakra UI) or eager to learn
- Have an experience or Interested in learning data visualization frameworks (e.g., deck.gl)
- A plus is familiarity with frontend build tools and preprocessors (e.g., Vite, Babel).
- Experience with scrum and agile development
- Having experience with UX-design is welcomed too
